I didn't think I'd ever see the day when Ryan or me turned 40, but it happened for Ryan a few weeks ago. It's not like 40 is old, but I remember my mom turning 40 and thinking, "Wow, she's old". Ha! But times have changed and I'd like to believe 40 is the new 30 so I'm going with that. At least Ryan is 40 and I'm still 39. Yay for that!
I think Ryan had a great time celebrating on his birthday. It was a pretty jam- packed day with General Conference and the Texans playing. The girls and I had an ice cream cake for him and we pretty much snacked on junk food all day. Perfect! I hope he had a great birthday because we sure had a ball celebrating him.
