Nails

Addyson and I saw some pretty nail polish styles on Pintetest the other day so we thought we'd try them out.  It was fun!

Great Lakes Science Center

Saturday we decided to go exploring since it was such a nice day.  We chose to head downtown to see The Great Lakes Science Center.  It was so much fun for the girls because there were lots of interactive exhibits, and even a Lego section.  Very cool.  We got to see this huge ship anchored behind the science center.   It was the William G. Mather steamship and they refer to it as the ship that built Cleveland.  It was really fun to go inside and look at how the people working on the ship lived at that time.  It was a good time for our family for sure.  I love being tourists in our own city!

Blue Tip Parade

We got invited to the Blue Tip Parade last night in Wadsworth.  The name Blue Tip comes from the fact that years ago in Wadsworth, that's where they made blue tip matches, and I suppose that was cause for celebration?  Who knows, but this was one fun parade.  We set up chairs in the front yard of some friends house from church(which was right on the parade route), BBQ'd, and did some major people watching.  There were floats galore and almost every one of them threw candy out to all the kids.  It was basically Halloween with the amount of candy the girls got.  We saw some of our friends from church, and the missionaries from our ward hung out with us, too.  It was just a small town good time.  Glad we went!

Memorial Day

We had plans to go to Columbus and BBQ with Regan and family on Memorial Day, but Ryan, the girls and I decided to drive down the day before and spend the night in a hotel.  We chose one with a pool, of course!  One little snag though, about half way up to Columbus(a 2 hour drive from us)Ryan remembered he didn't close our bedroom window.  We figured it would be ok so we kept on driving.  We arrived at our hotel, swam a bunch, got a pizza, ordered an in room movie and munched on candy.  The next day we headed to Regan and Andrea's house and had lots of fun.  Our girls all got along well, and Addyson and Riley had fun playing Disney Infinity.  After we ate we headed to the Columbus Zoo.  That place is enormous!  We all had a blast, and Delaney even got to ride a camel.  After the zoo everyone came back to our hotel for more swimming, then we went to Graeter's for ice cream.  Yum!  We planned on spending a second night in Columbus except we saw that rain was headed for medina overnight, and the window was open.  So, we packed up and headed home.  As luck would have it, it never did rain and we could have stayed that extra night!  It was a fun weekend and I'm glad we got to hang with the Fackrell's.
