BFF's

Laney loves these two animals more than life.  I'm glad we have these sweet babies to love on her and her sister.  Best pets ever.

She doesn't have everything...

This morning in Sacrament meeting at church Addyson says to me, "Mom, remember how Ashlyn's mom always bought her everything?  Like, if she wanted a toy or something her mom got it for her?   Well, she doesn't have everything.  She doesn't have this church"

Ringing in 2014

New Year's Eve was nice and low key for our little family.  I made potato soup in the crock pot and a Whoopie Pie cake for dessert.  We watched bowl games, played Pass the Pig, Spot It, and Fibber.  Santa brought us some fun games this year. We made a fire and stayed warm while watching the snow fall outside.  Definitely magical.  

2013 was a year of plenty of ups and downs, and I can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for us!

2013 had been a pretty good year for our family, we've had many blessings.  Hopefully 2014 will bring us as much happiness!  Some of my favorite photos of the year...

Another Christmas in the books

We had another great Christmas yesterday.  I'm feeling pretty blessed this morning as I wake up to see stocking stuffers and leftover Christmas fun all over the living room.  It was so nice just our little family of four celebrating.

On Christmas Eve we had a mini Christmas program followed by Addyson reading the story of Chris's birth in Luke. 

The favorite gifts that Santa brought this year were both girls Nerf Rebelle's, Disney Infinity, Addyson's sewing machine, Lane's Furbee and Glitzey Globes.  I love this time of year, the spirit is always so strong and things seem more magical.  We are very grateful for what we have and for each other.  Merry Christmas and happy holidays-

Brace Face

This cute girl got braces put on this past week.  She's now got a mouth full, wonder how she'd ever get through security at the airport?!  I'm impressed at how well she's done with her expander and now the braces.  Not sure I could deal with it, so proud of her!
