MOMMY! Where ARE you?!

Lately, I have had a reeeeally clingy toddler. Normally, Laney switches back and forth as to who her favorite is, Mom or Dad. In the past few weeks it has been ALL me. This might be flattering, some might say, but after a while it needs to be Dad's turn! She always wants me to hold her, I'm the one she wants to bathe her, make her meals/snacks, and the best part, to change her diapers. Sounds like we let this kid have the full run of the house! I guess the way I see it, in about 10 years or so, she'll be too busy for ole' Mom. Right now I indulge her and hold her all she wants. She's fun to snuggle and she loves to give hugs, and she gives great hugs!

Oh that Laney, she has me wrapped around her finger pretty tight, I'm not going to complain though!

A Beautiful Ballerina

Addyson had her very first ballet/tap dance recital this weekend. We were so proud of our beautiful little ballerina. No stage fright to speak of, she looked as if she had been performing on the stage for years!

We love her and are so proud of the outstanding job she did!

Welcome Home, Jordan!

Ryan's youngest brother, Jordan, has been serving a mission for our church in Taiwan for the past two years. He made it back to the states at the end of April, we're so happy he's home! I think about 5 of his nieces and nephews were born while he was gone, he's pretty excited about meeting and getting acquainted with them. Laney was only 2 months old when Jordan left, so it was like she was meeting him for the first time. Addyson was thrilled to see him again, and of course, Ryan got his XBox/PS3 partner back!

We're so proud of the service he did for the past two years, and we're glad to have him back home safe and sound!
