Hammer Cat

Since our Hammer Johnson was a kitten, she gets these infections every now and then in her claws. She's had several claws removed, and last week our vet told us we should completely declaw her front two paws. Ryan and I were reluctant since she's 18 lbs and 13 years old, not an easy procedure for a cat of that size and age. We figured it best to go ahead with it since this was better than reoccurring infections that are painful for her. She's our first baby and we care for her like we care for our kiddos.
Since the surgery she's not getting around all that great, but I'm hoping after a few weeks we'll have our girl kitty back to normal!
