Im pretty sure we had the best Spring Break on record this year. Just two weeks before spring break, we get a call from Ryan's brother Cameron that he and his family were coming to visit us. We were thrilled!! Unbeknownst to us, on Cam's wife Niki's bucket list was a visit to Niagra Falls. We felt like since we live so close, we could mark off that wish for her.
The day after our visitors arrived, we went to Amish Country for some sights and cheese. The Amish know how to make some good cheese and furniture. And it's always fun to see the horse and buggies around, such a different way of life than the rest of us for sure. The day after we packed up, and headed North towards Canada. On the way, we stopped at the Kirtland temple for an awesome tour. After that it was straight for Ontario. We stayed for two days and packed in a ton of fun. We walked, walked, and walked again. Did I mentioned that we walked everywhere?? No complaints though, we needed to walk off all the yummy food we had been eating. We walked the perimeter of the Horseshoe Falls and got pretty soaked from the mist, then headed underground for The Journey Under the Falls. That's probably the best part about being there, to be underneath the falls is pretty crazy. After that we made a stop at the Hershey store, headed to The Hard Rock for a t shirt for Cameron, then played on Clifton Hill St. There was so much to do there from haunted houses, fun houses, Guinness book of world records attraction, an upside down house, wax museum, and the list goes on.
It was so much fun being with Cameron, Niki, Kyle, Kayleigh, Brinley and Peyton. Kyle will soon leave on his two year mission for our church, so we were excited we got to spend some time with him before he leaves.
We are so thankful for visitors and so grateful that these guys took the time to see us!
